ngừa viêm phổi bệnh viện (46,32%); tiêm an toàn(69,85%).
Summary:
To assess the situationof knowledge of
nosocomialinfection controls among intensive
care nurses in Viet Duc hospital in 2015. In a
cross-sectional study, quantitative survey was
conducted on 136 intensive care nurses selected
by purposive sampling in three intensive care
units in Viet Duc hospital, using questionnaire.
The percentage of intensive nurses who
hasoverall knowledge of nosocomial infection
controls of nurses who work at the ICUin this
study was just more than a half (61.76%).
The percentage of nurses who has excellent
knowledge about other infection control issues
were average: sterilization (58.82%); standard
precautions (52.21%); bloodstream infections

The knowledge of nosocomialinfection controls
among intensive care nurses was still limited.
There is a need for training to improve nursing
knowledge and skills to match the needs at
the hospital, combine with clinical reminder
systems, audit and feedback to minimize cases
of nosocominal infection. This study was only
conducted in a at the national level hospitalwith
the selected study sample intentionally; further
research is needed to design randomized
controlled trial, follow-up studies to enhance
the knowledge nosocomialinfection controls
for nurses.
